Since 2010, we have worked on 15 events for Waitrose, raising millions.

We’ve helped Waitrose raise vital funds for GroceryAid.

 

Waitrose first enlisted our expertise in 2010 to assist fundraising at their annual Golf day.

 

The event was hugely successful, selling out straight away and trebling the money raised at the previous event. Subsequently we approached Waitrose with the idea of engaging with other suppliers who missed out due to popularity, or who were non-golfers – thus, the Gala Dinner was launched in 2011 which is now the highlight in the Waitrose calendar.

 

These two major events are held each year to raise funds for GroceryAid, a UK charity that supports people who work, or have worked, in the grocery industry and find themselves in need of a little extra financial support, from emergency grants to access to mobility equipment.

 

Our events raised £600,000 for the cause last year alone, and through expert planning and implementation, we’ve helped Waitrose become renowned for hosting some of the best events in the industry.

Supplier Dinner

Waitrose Supplier Gala Dinner

 

We’ve been organising the Waitrose Supplier Gala Dinner since 2011, providing an opportunity for the company’s suppliers to network with the executive board, commercial directors, category directors, and senior traders, whilst raising millions for GroceryAid.

 

Each year, we create an event more spectacular than the previous one. We invited Gary Barlow and Katherine Jenkins to wow the 1,400 guests with their performances in 2013, followed by Sir Tom Jones and Michael McIntyre in 2014, and Olly Murs and Madness completing the line-up in 2015.

 

Our expert planning and celebrity connections make the Supplier Gala Dinner a huge highlight on the Waitrose social calendar, and in 2015, we helped them raise more than £450,000 for GroceryAid on the night.

Golf Day

Waitrose Golf Day 

 

For Golf Day 2015, we organised a sell-out event at the prestigious Winter Hill golf course for 40 teams of Waitrose directors, buyers, and suppliers, followed by a dinner and awards presentation in the evening.

 

We book a host of stars to attend the event each year, play alongside the golfing teams, and participate in Q&A sessions. Last year Ryder Cup winning captain Paul McGinley lead the session, with stories of the Europeans win in the recent Ryder Cup, and his experiences as a professional golfer. 

 

The annual event has gained a reputation as the best Golf Day in the industry, recognised for our commitment to sourcing the finest locations, catering, and entertainment, as well as our implementation of the most effective fundraising strategies. In 2015, the Waitrose Golf Day raised a substantial £150,000 for GroceryAid.
